Sister Columba John Thadey, SFCC
Sister Columba has been a teacher and counselor at Loyola High School in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania for 15 years. During this time, she also co-founded the Loyola Charity Fund to provide scholarships to underprivileged children.
She holds many leadership roles at the school. Her most prominent positions include being the coordinator of both the Boston College High School Partnership and the Jesuit Endowment Fund. Her religious community, the Sisters for Christian Community, recently named her the Regional Communication Coordinator for East Africa.
Sister Columba’s commitment to faith and service led her to found the Divine Mercy Centre.
